What is Ace Golf Club?

Ace Golf Club is South Africa’s official Hole-in-One rewards club. Members who achieve a verified hole-in-one earn exclusive rewards, including invitations to the South African Final and the chance to qualify for the all-expenses-paid World Final experience.

How much does membership cost?

Join Ace Golf Club from R29 per month with our limited First 500 Member offer. Choose Standard Membership at R49 per month, save more with 3-Year (R1199) or 5-Year (R1999) plans, or unlock elite rewards with our Premium Membership at R1500 per year — including Puma gear, priority verification, double draw entries, event discounts, and exclusive member perks.

Do I need to make a hole-in-one to join?

No. Anyone can join as a member. You only need a hole-in-one to qualify for the Ace Golf Society Final — not to become a member

Who is eligible to join?

You must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Hold a valid HNA Handicap Index

  • Be an amateur golfer

  • Have active paid membership at the time of your hole-in-one

When does my membership start?

Your membership activates immediately once payment is successful. This means you are instantly eligible for giveaways and hole-in-one claims

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. Memberships auto-renew unless cancelled at least 30 days before renewal. All fees are non-refundable once paid

What qualifies as a valid hole-in-one?

A valid hole-in-one must:

  • Be played under official R&A Rules of Golf

  • Be at least 100m (men) or 80m (ladies)

  • Occur during a qualifying competition

  • Be witnessed by at least one independent adult

  • Use conforming clubs and balls

  • Have no mulligans, practice shots or assistance

Do social or practice rounds count?

No. Practice rounds, social golf, simulator golf and casual rounds do not qualify.

What evidence do I need to submit?

You must provide:

  • Signed official scorecard

  • Club verification letter

  • Witness details

  • HNA round record

  • Hole distance and competition details

  • Supporting photos or video (optional)

How long do I have to submit my claim?

You must:

  • Notify Ace Golf Society within 48 hours

  • Submit your full claim within 30 days of the round

How long does verification take?

Initial review happens within 7 business days. Final decisions are emailed and added to your dashboard once approved

How do I qualify for the Ace Golf Society Final?

You qualify by hitting one verified hole-in-one during your active membership year

What costs are covered for finalists?

Ace Golf Society covers:

  • Green fees

  • Domestic flights (conditions apply)

  • 2 nights accommodation

  • Transfers where required

Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative

What is the grand prize?

The SA Final winner receives a fully hosted international golf experience announced annually. No cash alternative applies

Can Ace Golf Society use my photo or story?

Yes. Members grant permission for AGS to use names, photos and hole-in-one stories for marketing and publicity purposes

What happens if someone submits fake claims?

Fraud results in:

  • Immediate lifetime ban

  • Reporting to GolfRSA and clubs

  • Possible legal action

  • No refunds

Who makes final decisions?

All final rulings are made by the Ace Golf Society Committee and are binding, except where new verified evidence is submitted
